Rewa, Madhya Pradesh : BJP MP from Rewa Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Janardan Mishra, has once again found himself in a controversy. A video of his statement while addressing those opposing ethanol blending and demanding pure petrol during a program held at Rewa Airport has gone viral on social media. Many leaders including Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla were present at the program.
A program was organized at Rewa Airport to launch the Kolkata-Rewa-Bhopal air service. In this program, BJP MP Janardan Mishra praised the policies and development works of the central government. While defending the policy of 20 percent ethanol blending in petrol, he gave the example of Brazil. The MP claimed that Indian vehicles are also capable of running on ethanol and ethanol blend can help reduce dependence on petroleum.
Reacting to those opposing ethanol blend and those demanding pure petrol, Janardhan Mishra said from a public platform, ‘Will pure petrol come from your father’s house?’ A controversy has now arisen regarding these words of the MP. When he was making this statement in the program, many leaders and public representatives including Madhya Pradesh Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State Pratibha Bagri, Satna MP Ganesh Singh were present.
