New Delhi : Western Uttar Pradesh is becoming a political arena in the 2027 assembly elections to be held in UP. Chandrashekhar, who became MP from Nagina, wants to strengthen his roots in Western UP with the help of Azad Dalit votes. But now Congress has handed over the command of this area to Dalit face Sanjeev Arya. This bet of Congress may increase political anxiety for Chandrashekhar. Under Mission-2027, Congress has divided the areas of work of its 6 new co-in-charges, in which gender equations have been taken into account.
Congress divided Uttar Pradesh into 6 zones, responsibility was given in the same way
Congress has made a strong political strategy to prevent Chandrashekhar Azad from becoming the best political option in West UP. Congress first made Dalit leader Rajendra Pal Gautam the in-charge of UP and now has handed over the command in the district of West UP to Sanjeev Arya, son of Uttarakhand’s veteran Dalit leader Yashpal Arya. Congress has handed over the responsibility of Muslim votes in West UP to its firebrand MP Imran Masood.
Congress has divided the UP organization into 6 zones. Now the responsibility of these 6 zones has been given to the recently appointed national secretaries. The way the command of West UP has been handed over to the Dalit leader, it is clear that it is ready to challenge Chandrashekhar Azad’s growing political graph. Congress has made Sanjeev Arya the in-charge of West UP. Some districts of Western UP have been included in the Braj zone. In which 13 districts come and Kunal Chaudhary has been made its in-charge.
Old faces removed, new in-charge given a selected team
The Congress high command has tried to make a strong position in the Dalit majority area with a new decision. In a way, 2 zones in Western UP are considered to be of the Congress organization. In which in-charges belonging to Dalit and OBC communities have been appointed. Congress first appointed Dalit Rajendra Pal Gautam as the in-charge of UP. After which Congress has removed the old faces and deployed people selected by Rajendra Pal Gautam as the co-in-charge of UP.
The first choice of Muslims is also Congress. Due to the alliance with SP, the possibility of division of Muslim votes is less. In such a situation, Congress has increased its work on the Dalit-Muslim equation in western UP through the pair of Sanjeev Arya and Imran Masood. Chandrashekhar has his eye on this equation. But it remains to be seen how he will cope with the Congress’s bet.
