Srinagar, J & K : Apni Party leaders and workers staged a protest at Press Colony in Srinagar on Monday against the hike in electricity tariffs, raising slogans against the National Conference-led government.

The protest was led by Mohd Ashraf Mir and Youth leader Jibran Dar, who along with party workers expressed strong opposition to the increased electricity charges.

The protesters raised slogans against the NC government and demanded that the tariff hike be reconsidered, saying the increase would add to the financial burden on the common people.

The protesting leaders urged the government to take immediate steps to provide relief to consumers and address their concerns regarding electricity tariffs.
