Gurez, J & K: Jammu and Kashmir Police, in collaboration with the Gurez administration, organised a Tiranga Rally at Dawar along the Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez Valley of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.

More than 100 people participated in the rally with great enthusiasm as part of the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, aimed at promoting patriotism and encouraging people to display the national flag with pride.

The rally was led by Station House Officer (SHO) Gurez, Nazir Ahmad Lone, and commenced from the Community Health Centre (CHC), Dawar. The participants marched through the area carrying the Tricolour and raising patriotic slogans before concluding the rally at the Habba Khatoon Taxi Stand.

The Block Development Officer (BDO), Gurez, along with officials from the local administration, also participated in the event and interacted with the participants.

The organisers said the rally was aimed at strengthening the spirit of patriotism and unity among the people, while encouraging greater public participation in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, particularly in the border region of Gurez.
