New Delhi : The sudden visit of the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi to Delhi has sparked a lot of discussion in the state’s politics. He left for New Delhi suddenly on Saturday morning and after holding important meetings with the central leadership, returned to Gandhinagar in the evening. Since this is the Deputy Chief Minister’s third visit to Delhi in a very short period, various arguments have started in the BJP’s inner circles and secretariat.
It is being speculated that there are two main reasons behind this short but very important visit to Delhi by Harsh Sanghvi.
It is likely that there was a detailed discussion with the central high command regarding the state’s organizational structure, the upcoming local body elections and the functioning of the government.
Promotional roadshows and meetings with industry leaders in the country and abroad for the upcoming ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’ are also believed to be on the agenda of this trip.
The political heat has increased with the Deputy Chief Minister reaching Delhi for the third consecutive time in the last few days. Sources are saying that during this meeting with the top central leaders of the BJP in Delhi, a high-level brainstorming took place regarding the state’s policy decisions, law and order situation and future roadmap. This quick visit of going to Delhi in the morning and returning in the evening shows that the agenda of the meeting was very important.
However, no official statement or details of the meetings have been released regarding this visit, but there is a lot of discussion that these frequent trips in a short period of time are pointing towards some big decision in Gujarat’s politics or at the administrative level in the coming days.
