Srinagar, J & K : Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Mithun Manhas on Saturday called on Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Lok Bhawan here officials said.

The spokesman, however, did not provide further details about the discussions held during the meeting.
Manhas, who hails from Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir, was elected unopposed as the 37th president of the BCCI in September 2025.
A prominent figure in domestic cricket, Manhas represented Delhi from the 1997-98 season to 2016-17. He featured in 157 first-class matches and scored 9,714 runs, while he also accumulated 4,126 runs in 130 List A matches during his playing career.
His elevation to the top post in Indian cricket has brought added recognition to Jammu and Kashmir’s contribution to the country’s cricketing landscape.
