BJP Labels Rahul Gandhi a ‘Despicable Deceiver’ ; Raises Questions Over His Foreign Tours and Ties to George Soros

New Delhi : Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power and remains in office due to ‘foreign aid.’ The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has hit back at these accusations.

BJP national spokesperson C.R. Kesavan branded Rahul Gandhi a “despicable deceiver” and accused him of hypocrisy. Kesavan targeted the Congress leader by sharing an old video of him.

On the social media platform X, BJP national spokesperson C.R. Kesavan wrote, “Rahul Gandhi is such a despicable deceiver that his ‘third-class’ lies always backfire on him, leaving him embarrassed in the end.”

Referring to remarks made by Rahul Gandhi in the UK in March 2023, C.R. Kesavan added, “Speaking in London in 2023, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi called for foreign intervention in India’s internal affairs, stating that ‘this is not just India’s fight.'”

The BJP spokesperson further questioned, “Why has the Congress shied away from responding to the allegation that Sonia Gandhi served as a co-chair of the ‘Forum of Democratic Leaders in the Asia-Pacific’? This forum supported the idea of an independent Kashmir and maintains close ties with George Soros.” Targeting the Congress party’s silence, a BJP leader wrote, “Why have Rahul Gandhi and the Congress maintained a mysterious silence regarding their close ties with entities and individuals like Hindenburg and Cornelia Woll? These individuals are deeply connected to organizations that receive funding from George Soros.”

Questioning Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips, the BJP wrote, “Why does Rahul Gandhi frequently travel abroad? Whom does he meet in secret, and what is the agenda behind these clandestine meetings? The nation demands answers from Rahul Gandhi—as he is the Leader of the Opposition (LoP)—because the mystery surrounding his foreign visits poses a serious threat to our national security.”

On the platform ‘X’, Rahul Gandhi took aim at Prime Minister Modi following the latter’s ‘National Unity Day’ (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) speech. Turning the Prime Minister’s warning about “foreign conspiracies” back toward him, Rahul Gandhi without providing any concrete evidence alleged that the Modi government and the nation’s financial system are propped up by external forces.

Rahul Gandhi stated, “I challenge you to an open debate on this issue any platform, any time. If you have the courage, come forward. But you won’t dare to do so, because you are afraid of what I know about you.”

Targeting the opposition, Prime Minister Modi had urged citizens to remain vigilant against disruptive forces that are attempting to divide the nation and tarnish India’s image abroad.

Prime Minister Modi remarked, “Certain forces are continuously engaged in conspiracies to divide the country. After more than a decade of frustration and despair, these forces have now come out into the open. Who is meeting whom secretly abroad? Whom are anti-India forces supporting? Who is speaking the language of India’s enemies? We must recognize these tactics and confront them collectively.”
