Jammu Kashmir : The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps (XVI Corps) successfully conducted the Inno Yodhha I3R&D Competition 2026 27 at its headquarters in Nagrota.highlighting cutting edge indigenous innovations developed by young soldiers.

The competition focused on emerging technology domains critical to modern warfare, including Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Counter UAS systems, AI based Autonomous Systems, and Stealth Technology.

These innovations aim to address operational challenges faced by troops and enhance overall operational effectiveness in the field.

General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps Lieutenant General P K Mishra.interacted with the participating teams. He commended the young innovators in uniform for their ingenuity, hard work, and innovative spirit in developing home grown solutions.

In an official statement, the Corps emphasised that the initiative reflects the Army’s commitment to converting operational challenges into indigenous capabilities. Turning operational challenges into indigenous capabilities a step towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat the White Knight Corps said in its post on X.

The event aligns with the broader national vision of self reliance in defence manufacturing under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

It encourages soldiers at the grassroots level to contribute practical, field oriented technological solutions that can be further developed and integrated into the force.

The White Knight Corps headquartered at Nagrota in the Jammu region is responsible for operational areas south of the Pir Panjal range and continues to prioritise innovation alongside operational readiness.

The Corps reiterated its ethos with the tagline: “We Serve We Protect”.
