New Delhi : Prime Point Foundation on Wednesday organized the distribution program of the 16th Sansad Ratna Awards – 2026 in New Delhi under the chairmanship of Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy and Union Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Former Chief Justice of India B. R. Gavai and Former Chairman of NCBC Hansraj G. Ahir and Member and Member of Parliament Bhartihari Mahtab were present in the presence of Prime Point Foundation Chairman Srinivasan and MP Ratna Award Committee Chairman Priyadarshini Rahul.

Former Rajya Sabha MP (Gujarat) and former Deputy Chief Minister Narhari Amin was awarded this award for his outstanding parliamentary performance in the Parliament till the end of the Budget Session of the 18th Lok Sabha for the year 2025-26, based on his participation in the questions and answers and discussions. This award function has been started by Prime Point Foundation since 2010 with the inspiration of former President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.

In this award function, 12 MPs including Narhari Amin and 4 parliamentary committees and the National Commission for Scheduled Castes were given the “Sansad Ratna Award” from across the country. In which MPs Jagdambika Pal (BJP, Uttar Pradesh), P. P. Chaudhary (BJP, Rajasthan), Nishikant Dubey (BJP, Jharkhand), Shrikant Eknath Shinde (Shiv Sena, Maharashtra), Praveen Patel (Uttar Pradesh), Bidyut Baran Mahato (Jharkhand), Lumbaram Chaudhary (Rajasthan), Hemant Vishnu Sawara (Maharashtra), Smita Uday Wagh (Maharashtra), Naresh Ganpat Mhaske (Maharashtra) and Medha Vishram Kulkarni (Maharashtra) as well as the Chairman of the Central Commission for Scheduled Castes, Kishorebhai Makwana were also given the award.

Apart from this, 4 important committees of Parliament were also awarded for their outstanding record and performance. These include Chairman of the Agriculture Committee Charanjit Singh Channi (former Chief Minister, Punjab), Chairman of the Finance Committee Bhartihari Mahtab, Chairman of the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Committee Saptagiri Shankar Ulaka and Chairman of the Coal and Mines Committee Anurag Thakur.
