Bihar : A disturbing scene unfolding in broad daylight has sent shockwaves across Samastipur, Bihar. A viral video allegedly showing a minor girl being surrounded, verbally abused and subjected to inappropriate behaviour by a group of youths has triggered police action. The incident is reportedly from the Jagatsinghpur area under Karpurigram police station, where the girl was allegedly with a young man and had stopped by the roadside to take photographs.
According to reports, several youths approached and surrounded them, with the viral footage appearing to show the girl being stopped and allegedly harassed while she tried to get away. The video spread rapidly across social media, prompting the Samastipur Police to launch an investigation and identify those allegedly involved.
According to the latest reports, four people have been arrested in connection with the case, while questioning and further investigation are underway. Police are also examining the authenticity of the viral footage and reconstructing the complete circumstances surrounding the incident.
