Mumbai : Mumbai remained under siege from torrential monsoon rain on Thursday, with flooded roads, traffic snarls, and delayed local trains disrupting normal life. The downpour also turned tragic after a man died after reportedly falling into an open manhole on Khairani Road, which connects Andheri, Saki Naka, Jogeshwari, Kurla, and Ghatkopar.

Residents have been advised to avoid flooded roads, stay indoors when possible, and follow official advisories as Mumbai braces for more intense rain.
