Pakistan deploys new technology equipment including new drones near Sir Creek, takes help from China-Turkey

Kutch, Gujarat : Pakistan is expanding its naval and military infrastructure near Sir Creek. This is a 96-km-long sensitive bay between Kutch and Pakistan’s Sindh province, which meets the Arabian Sea.

According to the report, this area is part of a new project called ‘Ababil- The Divine Strike’. Under this, the Pakistani Navy has deployed its Naval Special Service Group (SSG-N) commandos in Sir Creek.

From hovercraft to drones deployed

According to the report, Pakistan is deploying Turkish drones, modern Chinese hovercraft and fast-moving naval vessels, along with the latest rockets and air defense systems in the area.

The report quoted sources as saying that the Turkish drones are capable of carrying explosives and can also be used for surveillance. The system is aimed at controlling external threats.

China and Turkey are providing technical and military assistance

The report said that Pakistan has included unmanned aerial and naval drones in its maritime operations with the aim of challenging India’s naval presence in Sir Creek and the Arabian Sea.

An inside source said that both China and Turkey are playing a key role in the modernization of Pakistan’s armed forces by providing modern military equipment and technology. The Ababil project includes a modern air defense system.

Asim Munir responsible for army modernization

According to the report, China has handed over the first Hangar-class submarine to Pakistan. This will increase Pakistan’s capabilities in the Arabian Sea.

Along with this, Pakistan has also included modern Chinese Tughril-class frigates under the modernization program of its naval fleet.

The report says that Field Marshal Asim Munir is overseeing the comprehensive modernization of Pakistan’s army, navy and air force under a unified command.
