Srinagar, J & K : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday visited and inspected the site of the proposed bridge at Barbar Shah as part of his extensive tour of Srinagar, taking stock of the infrastructure project aimed at strengthening connectivity and improving traffic movement towards Shehar-e-Khaas.
The proposed bridge is expected to help ease traffic congestion for commuters heading towards the historic city centre and facilitate smoother movement, thereby improving overall urban connectivity.
During the tour, the Chief Minister also reviewed various ongoing and proposed development and infrastructure projects across the city.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation Fazlul Haseeb and other senior officials.
