Kulgam, J & K : Kulgam Police on Sunday conducted a counter-terrorism mock drill at the famous Aharbal tourist destination to assess security preparedness and emergency response capabilities.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kulgam and led by DySP Operations Manzgam. SHO Manzgam, SOG Manzgam, Markhor Manzgam and CRPF 18 Battalion participated in the drill.
The exercise aimed to assess the readiness of security personnel to respond swiftly and effectively to potential security threats at the tourist destination.
It also focused on strengthening communication and coordination among the participating agencies to ensure a prompt and coordinated response during emergency situations.
Kulgam Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of tourists and the general public at important tourist destinations across the district.
