Srinagar, J & K : Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, congratulated Jammu and Kashmir Police on the successful completion of Jashn-e-Dal-2026, highlighting the importance of sports in youth empowerment and efforts to build a healthy, drug-free society.
In a message posted on X, the Lieutenant Governor urged young athletes and citizens to contribute towards creating a healthier and drug-free society.
He said sports provide a constructive platform for youth empowerment and help channel the energy of young people towards nation building, creativity and positive social transformation.
The Lieutenant Governor also underscored the importance of initiatives such as Jashn-e-Dal in encouraging young people to engage in sports and other constructive activities.
Such initiatives promote discipline, teamwork and a positive outlook among youth while reinforcing the importance of collective efforts to address drug abuse and its impact on society.
The message highlights the role of sports-based activities in engaging young people and encouraging them to contribute to a healthier and more progressive Jammu and Kashmir.
