Wife, Lover Arrested After Chilling Snakebite Murder Plot Uncovered in Uttar Pradesh
Meerut ; A shocking murder case from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut has stunned the nation after police alleged that a woman conspired with her lover to kill her husband using a venomous snake in a bid to claim his insurance money. According to police, Damini, along with her alleged lover Tushar, hatched an elaborate plan to eliminate her husband, Atul Panwar, who co-ran a private play school with her in Hastinapur.
Investigators claim that Damini’s motive was driven by both her extramarital relationship and the desire to pocket her husband’s insurance payout.

Police said the accused first served Atul a glass of milk laced with sedatives, rendering him unconscious. Once he was asleep, the duo allegedly released a highly venomous snake onto his bed, allowing it to bite him. Atul died from the snakebite, and the death was initially believed to be a tragic accident.
However, inconsistencies in the case prompted a deeper investigation. Evidence collected by the police reportedly exposed the conspiracy, leading investigators to conclude that the snakebite was a carefully planned murder rather than a natural incident.

Meerut Senior Superintendent of Police said the accused woman and her alleged lover orchestrated the killing with meticulous planning. The case has drawn widespread attention due to its unusual and chilling method of murder.
Police have arrested the accused and are continuing their investigation to establish the full sequence of events and gather additional evidence.
Officials said appropriate legal action is being taken against those involved. The sensational case has sparked outrage across the country, with many calling it one of the most shocking murder conspiracies reported in recent times.
