Chief Minister Rekha Gupta Announces Hostels for 10,000 Students
New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has announced the large-scale construction of hostels for students. The government has decided to build hostels capable of accommodating 10,000 students catering to both male and female students. These facilities will be available to students enrolled in any university or college in Delhi, ensuring they have access to safe, affordable, and convenient accommodation.
The Chief Minister stated that meetings with relevant departments have been held, suitable locations have been identified, and a policy draft is currently being prepared. Attention has also been paid to the students’ needs and the essential amenities required within the hostels, aiming to relieve them of concerns regarding food and accommodation.
Rekha Gupta assured that these hostels would be secure enough for parents across the country to send their children without worry. With the burden of housing and food concerns removed, students will be able to focus entirely on their studies and their dreams.
