Jayrajsinh Cites Lack of Discipline in Congress ; Pravin Mali Claims Internal Strife Plagues the Entire Party !

Ahmedabad, Gujarat : The internal strife that originated within the Banaskantha District Congress is now heating up the political atmosphere across Gujarat. Amidst rising factionalism and infighting within the state Congress, former Congress leader and current BJP leader Jayrajsinh Parmar launched a scathing attack on the party’s functioning, stating that there is a severe lack of discipline within the organization. Minister Pravin Mali also hit back on the same issue, asserting that internal discord and dissatisfaction within the Congress have reached their peak. This controversy has further intensified the political heat in the state.

Targeting the Congress, Jayrajsinh Parmar remarked that this infighting has existed since time immemorial and will continue indefinitely. He noted a profound lack of discipline within the party. While he acknowledged that differences of opinion and occasional friction are natural in any family, he pointed out that the BJP takes action against indiscipline, whereas the Congress lacks any such policy. He added, “Congress’s favorite sport is Kabaddi—a game where people excel only at pulling each other’s legs. Instead of fighting the BJP, Congress is fighting amongst itself. What was once a prominent party has now been reduced to a mere remnant and will soon cease to exist entirely.” Furthermore, he alleged that Congress leaders try to maintain their dominance by using party workers as proxies and never engage with the public except during elections.

Reacting to the internal infighting within Congress, Minister Pravin Mali stated that this discord is not limited to just one district; the situation is the same across the entire state. Those who cannot even manage their own families are talking about governing the state.

Meanwhile, regarding the dispute in Banaskantha between State President Amit Chavda and Banaskantha Congress President Gulabsinh Rajput, Tharad District Panchayat member Siddhrajsinh Rajput made a significant statement. He noted that Gulabsinh had submitted the list of candidates to the state committee three months ago, but was forced to voice his concerns because the list was not released on time.

Siddhrajsinh alleged that an internal conspiracy is being hatched to oust leaders who enjoy a strong public mandate, such as Gulabsinh Rajput and MP Geniben Thakor. Despite being Gujarat’s only female MP, Geniben is not even contacted regarding state-level party programs. People within the Congress party itself are doing what the BJP could not achieve. He made it clear that he was in the Congress yesterday and remains so today, and that he would stand firmly with Gulabsinh and Geniben whenever the need arises.
