New Delhi : Amid the ongoing deadlock in the monsoon session of Parliament, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that he is ready to answer all questions. He put the ball in the opposition’s court, saying, “You should write your wish for a discussion, and I will answer.”

Targeting the opposition, he said, “I will also discuss why you do not want a discussion. The Bharatiya Janata Party government, the NDA government led by PM Modi, is ready to discuss everything. They do not let Parliament function.”

Amit Shah said that first of all, language like “disappearing,” “escaping,” and “absconding” is being heard. He said, “The opposition is not allowing Parliament to function in both the Houses, so what will happen if we go there? I am ready to answer any question in Parliament. We are ready for discussion from 3 pm today to 3 pm tomorrow.” The opposition should write a letter and submit it to Speaker Om Birla by 2 pm.

Amit Shah said, “The discussion will start at 3 pm today. I will reply tomorrow at 3 pm. I will personally participate in the discussion. Now the opposition has to decide whether to discuss or create a ruckus. The government has nothing to hide. I will also discuss why you did not allow the House to function.”
