New Delhi : Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will attend the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ (Voice of Students) event in Indore on September 12. During the event, he will interact with Gen-Z.
The Indore event is part of the ‘Chhatron Ki Goonj’ series previously held in Kota, Dehradun, Prayagraj, and Pune. It will kick off with a concert.
Following this, Rahul Gandhi will deliver a presentation on issues concerning the youth of Madhya Pradesh and the country. This will be followed by a direct question-and-answer session between the youth and Rahul Gandhi.
KV Baiju, an aide to Rahul Gandhi, arrived in Indore on Saturday to discuss the proposed event. He held a meeting with State Congress President Jitu Patwari and other Congress leaders.
According to sources, a prominent singer or music band might also perform at the event; the final choice will be made from Delhi.
After the meeting, City Congress President Chintu Choukse wrote to the Municipal Commissioner, requesting that Nehru Stadium be reserved for four days for the occasion.
