Gandhinagar, Gujarat : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be the guest of the cultural city of Vadodara on September 8, for which an atmosphere of enthusiasm and preparations is being seen throughout the city. PM Modi, who always prioritizes the development of Gujarat, is likely to gift various development works worth thousands of crores of rupees to the people of Vadodara and Central Gujarat during this visit.
It is believed that these grand programs will give further impetus to the city’s infrastructure, transport system, education and industry. Since the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi has had an unbreakable and special intimate connection with the city of Vadodara and its people.
Following this important and grand tour of the Prime Minister, the state government and local administration have become completely relaxed. To take stock of the preparations and conduct a thorough review of all the arrangements, State Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi made a special visit to Vadodara. He reached the historic M.S. University (MS Uni.) Pavilion Ground, which is the heart of the city, and conducted a very detailed inspection of the venue.
During this review and inspection, Vadodara’s young MP Hemang Joshi and all the high officials of the police, municipality and district administration also joined him. Harsh Sanghvi gave necessary and strict suggestions to the officials regarding the construction of the main stage, seating arrangements for lakhs of citizens, parking facilities and traffic management of the city.
It is noteworthy that all the security agencies have also come on high alert due to this surprise visit of PM Modi. To ensure that there is no lapse in the security of the Prime Minister of the country, central and state intelligence and security agencies including SPG have set up camp in Vadodara. In addition, intensive patrolling and checking exercises have also been carried out by the local police on a war footing. The work of turning the entire event venue and the main roads around it into an impenetrable security camp is in full swing.
