CRPF Hosts 3-Day Inter-Battalion Football Tournament in Anantnag
Anantnag, J & K : The 90 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is organising the Inter-Battalion Football Tournament 2026 under the Ops Range Anantnag at Bijbehara in Anantnag district.
The three-day tournament is being held from September 18 to 20, 2026, with teams from different CRPF battalions under the Anantnag range taking part in the sporting event.
The tournament provides CRPF personnel with an opportunity to showcase their football skills while encouraging healthy competition and team spirit. The event is also aimed at promoting sportsmanship, physical fitness and camaraderie among the participating personnel.
The tournament reflects the CRPF’s emphasis on sports and physical activities as part of maintaining fitness, discipline and team coordination among its personnel.
Matches will be conducted throughout the three-day event at the Bijbehara venue, bringing together CRPF teams from across the Anantnag operational range.
