Gandhinagar, Gujarat : The monsoon session of the Gujarat Assembly is about to begin in Gandhinagar. This three-day session will begin with the Governor’s speech. On the first day of the session, condolences will also be paid to the deceased members. During the short session, the government will introduce various important amendment bills. On the other hand, political heat may be seen in the assembly as the opposition is likely to surround the government on various issues.
During the monsoon session, some important bills will be introduced by the government in the house. These include the Gujarat Livestock Feed, Poultry Feed and Mineral Mixture Bills. Apart from this, the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Amendment Bill, Gujarat Land Revenue Amendment Bill and Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Amendment Bill will also be introduced. In addition to these bills, various issues of the state are likely to be discussed in the three-day session.
An important meeting of the ruling party BJP will be held before the assembly session begins. BJP MLAs including the Chief Minister will be present in this meeting, which will be chaired by Dandak. They will be given a whip to ensure the presence of all the MLAs during the session. The meeting is also likely to discuss the opposition that may be raised by the Congress in the assembly and the strategy to counter it on the part of the government. Due to which political heat can be seen between the ruling party and the opposition during the session.
Various special programs have also been organized during the monsoon session of the assembly. Under the ‘Ek Pad Maan Ke Naam’ campaign, trees will be planted in the secretariat complex. The assembly speaker, Chief Minister and MLAs will participate in this campaign. Apart from this, a special exhibition of modern modular hospital ‘BHISHM CUBE’ will be held at the Legislative Assembly podium. It will be inaugurated by the Legislative Assembly Speaker, Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister. Thus, along with legislative work, political discussions and various programs will also be the center of attraction in the three-day session.
