Son Missing, Foul Smell Raises Suspicion in Kumbharpada
Puri, Odisha : Sensation has gripped Kumbharpada in Puri after a shocking suspicion emerged that a woman may have been killed and her body allegedly concealed inside the rented house.
According to the information available, a mother and her son had been staying in the house for nearly two months. The situation came under suspicion after the son reportedly went missing, while there was no trace of the mother.
The house owner, Manorama Sahu, reportedly noticed a strong foul smell coming from the kitchen. Suspicion further grew after signs of water and waste material were reportedly noticed near a portion of the kitchen slab, where plastering appeared to have been done.
The house owner informed the police, following which an investigation was initiated. There is a suspicion that something may have been concealed beneath the kitchen slab, but it has not yet been officially confirmed that a body is present there.
Police are investigating several questions: Where is the missing woman ? Why has her son allegedly fledn? What is beneath the kitchen slab ? And was a crime committed inside the house ?
The truth is expected to emerge after police examination and further investigation.
