Call for protest at RK Ashram Metro Station

New Delhi : Amidst the protest by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), a clever strategy by All India Students Association (AISA) National President Neha Bora has come to light. According to reports, the police chased a woman resembling Neha Bora at the RK Ashram Metro Station. The report further stated, “Everyone thought she was Neha Bora; the police ran after her, and the media rushed to cover her detention… but ultimately, she was spotted on social media running in Connaught Place.” However, Neha Bora later clarified on social media that this was not a strategy, but merely a coincidence.

AISA National President Neha had called for a protest at the RK Ashram Metro Station around 1:00 PM on Sunday. By 2:15 PM, SFI protesters were marching in the area amidst a heavy presence of female police personnel. They were all waiting for Neha Bora. As AISA supporters who had arrived for the protest were detained one by one each being dragged by four to five police officers and shoved into waiting buses a sudden stir broke out behind them.

Someone exclaimed, “Neha Bora has been detained!” However, it turned out to be someone else entirely. Neha Bora had called for the protest at RK Ashram Metro Station at 2:30 PM. By the time the media and police arrived there, Neha Bora was seen sprinting towards Connaught Place, aiming to reach Jantar Mantar. People on social media commented: “A fake Neha Bora gave the Delhi Police the slip, and then the real one appeared. This level of obsession is extreme.”

Suddenly, cameras turned in that direction. Media personnel began shouting “breaking news”: “Neha Bora has been detained. The police are taking her away.” Amidst the commotion, a woman tried to hold her ground while four female police officers pulled her by her arms and shoulders. She was wearing a mask, a red cloth wrapped around her neck, and round, black-framed glasses the very look that has become Bora’s trademark.

As protesters around her scuffled with the police, the woman was eventually pushed toward the steps of a bus. When she turned her head, perhaps to look at the cameras, the people present realized the truth: she wasn’t Neha, but her lookalike.

The confusion was cleared up when someone spotted a Reel on Neha’s Instagram account. She wasn’t at RK Ashram; she was at Connaught Place, running alongside AISA supporters while police officers chased them.

Bora slowed down near Blue Tokai Café. She was eventually detained at Vijay Chowk. This time, the police had the person they were actually looking for. Between the two incidents at RK Ashram and Connaught Place, around 50 people were detained, loaded onto buses, and removed from the area.

Later, sharing a photo of herself with her lookalike, Bora wrote, “The story of two Nehas. No strategy, just a coincidence.”

Social media users commented: “Thousands of police personnel. Hundreds of surveillance tools.” Despite having vast resources at their disposal, the entire Delhi Police force was outsmarted by Neha Bora’s lookalike. She sent a friend who resembled her to RK Ashram; the police mistook the friend for Neha and rushed in their hundreds to apprehend her. Meanwhile, the real Neha Bora arrived at CP and began protesting. It took the police a while to realize they had been duped. Absolutely brilliant.
