Gandhinagar, Gujarat : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat has stated that attempts are being made to break India. He noted that global forces have targeted India, seeking to serve their own interests under the guise of ‘regime change.’ The RSS Chief remarked that India has become a target for ‘demonic’ (asuri) forces precisely because of the development it has achieved over the last decade.
The RSS Chief made these remarks while addressing the organization’s Vijayadashami celebrations in Nagpur. Mohan Bhagwat stated that India’s consistent progress is not well-received by certain global forces. He said, “A storm has emerged from the West one that harbors hatred for all established systems, decency, auspiciousness, and traditional values, and seeks to destroy them… Look at what is happening in France, in Albania, what occurred in Bangladesh, and what transpired in Nepal. All of this is their handiwork.”
During his address, Mohan Bhagwat asserted that ‘regime change’ has never and will never succeed in altering underlying conditions. Bhagwat remarked, “They claim that ‘regime change’ will transform circumstances, but that will not happen. It has never happened in the past, nor will it happen now. They have always relied on their own puppets individuals who serve their narrow, selfish interests to exert influence everywhere. Such operations are carried out globally, and India’s rise acts as an obstacle to their agenda. That is why India has become their primary target, and such efforts are currently underway within India as well.”
Bhagwat added that India’s remarkable progress over the last decade, coupled with the awakening of a sense of purpose and vigor (purusharth) among the new generation, has effectively thwarted their schemes. He concluded, “These demonic forces are well aware of this, which is precisely why India remains their target.” The RSS Chief further stated that such individuals hatch conspiracies to break India. He said, “They hold meetings to devise ways to dismantle India, the Hindu community, and the Sangh. And they even receive support from those who are driven purely by a selfish desire for power, and from ambitious leaders. Society is vast, and our nation’s development is not yet complete; therefore, problems will inevitably persist.”
Mohan Bhagwat remarked, “Problems are bound to arise, and they naturally lead to movements such is the nature of a democracy. However, movements should be aimed at finding solutions; the very purpose of a movement is to reach a solution.” He added, “Whether it is a group organizing a protest, the administration responsible for maintaining law and order, or political leaders no form of animosity should be allowed to take root within our unified society. Regardless of how intense emotions may become, our conduct including our speech, behavior, and actions must remain within the bounds of the decorum prescribed by our Constitution and the norms of civil discourse.”
