Jammu Kashmir : Rail services on two routes in Kashmir Valley will remain affected for 15 days as Northern Railway carries out maintenance work ahead of the winter season.

According to the railway schedule, Train No. 74615 operating from Banihal to Baramulla and Train No. 74620 running from Baramulla to Banihal will remain cancelled from October 17 to October 31.

The pre-winter destressing work is aimed at ensuring safe and smooth train operations during the harsh winter months, when weather conditions can affect railway services in the Valley.

Passengers planning to travel during this period have been advised to confirm train timings and operational status through Railway Helpline 139 or the NTES mobile application before leaving for their journey.
