Kolkata : In another political development ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections, Chandra Kumar Bose, a member of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s family, has resigned from the Trinamool Congress (TMC), citing personal reasons. Bose announced his decision to leave the party, marking yet another significant turn in his political journey. Chandra Kumar Bose, who is widely known as a grandnephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, said that he was stepping away from the TMC due to personal reasons. Before entering active politics, Bose worked in the fields of corporate management and entrepreneurship. His professional background later transitioned into a political career, eventually bringing him into the BJP and subsequently the TMC.
