Ahmedabad, Gujarat : Anand Niketan School in Ahmedabad has once again come under controversy. Two opposing groups came face-to-face over a book allegedly being taught in the school. A tense atmosphere was witnessed in the entire area as huge uproar and fights broke out during the protest.
Anand Niketan School in Ahmedabad has once again been engulfed in a whirlwind of controversies. This private school, which is constantly in the news for pocketing the parents, has been seriously accused of instilling anti-national and anti-Hindu mentality in the minds of the children.
Bajrang Dal had put up a fierce front against the banning of the national anthem in the school and the teaching of Malala Yousafzai’s book, which has an anti-Kashmir mindset. Bowing to the opposition of Bajrang Dal, the school administration had to assure that this controversial book would be banned.
But this decision poured oil into the stomachs of the Left and the Congress. Congress leader Parthivraj Singh Kathwadia and the Left started a demonstration near Vastrapur Garden with the demand to bring back the controversial book. Where the atmosphere heated up as soon as the Bajrang Dal workers reached and after a heated argument, open-handed fighting started.
The Anand Niketan School controversy has now taken the form of a political and ideological war. On one hand, the Left and the Congress are protesting, while on the other hand, the Bajrang Dal has clearly warned that this kind of fierce protest against Sanatan and anti-national mentality will continue.
