New Delhi : After Dharmendra Pradhan, the Cockroach Janata Party has demanded the resignation of one more person. Now, the Cockroach Janata Party spokesperson has targeted the party’s Bar Council of India (BCI) chief Manan Kumar Mishra. The party has started this demand after the Supreme Court’s rebuke. On Friday, Chief Justice Suryakant reprimanded the BCI for the controversial order.

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das on Friday demanded Mishra’s resignation and appealed for unity. He wrote that moral responsibility suggests that Manan Kumar Mishra resign. He further wrote that Cockroaches inside and outside the court will ensure that this happens. It is noteworthy that the CJP had recently also talked about season 2 of Jantar Mantar.

The Supreme Court has objected to the BCI’s order. The bench headed by CJI Suryakant said that the BCI has no role in the matter as it was a matter of discussion between him and the students. The CJI said, the students have the right to protest. Who can stop them? The Chief Justice added, this is a matter of discussion between me and the students. Who are the interferers?

On Thursday, the BCI issued an order that no graduate of NALSAR Law University graduating in 2026 should be enrolled as an advocate till further orders. However, following a huge outcry on social media, the BCI withdrew the order within hours. In his opening statement, BCI Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra said that the council is investigating the allegations related to the campaign against Chief Justice of India Suryakant’s participation in the university’s convocation ceremony.

The apex statutory body of lawyers said that the final decision in the case will be taken after considering the material placed before it on August 19. After this, amidst massive protests on social media, the BCI withdrew its decision, allowing state bar councils to register university graduates of the year 2026 as lawyers.

Party founder Abhijit Deepak on Wednesday announced that season 2 of his campaign will start soon. He said, this is the beginning of season 2. Many people on Instagram were asking when the second season will start. Season 2 is going to start very soon at Jantar Mantar. However, he did not give detailed information about his plans.

After talks with the government, the CJP had called off its nationwide protest on July 25. The protest at Jantar Mantar against the NEET paper leak lasted for 36 days, which received support from opposition leaders as well as students and youth across the country. Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as the education minister. This was the primary demand of the CJP.
