New Delhi : BJP has announced a new team by making a big change in social media and digital wing. But within a few hours of the announcement of the new team, the entire matter came into discussion. The reason was the X accounts of Priti Gandhi and Alok Bhatt.

After getting the new responsibility, it has come to light that the previous posts and timeline of both the X accounts are not visible to the general users. When trying to open the account, the posts are not visible like before. Due to this change, many questions are being raised on social media.

However, the most important thing is that no official reason has been given by BJP so far as to why these accounts disappeared. Therefore, it cannot be said for sure whether the accounts have been deactivated, locked or the review of old posts is going on.

Along with this incident, Congress has targeted BJP’s new social media team. Congress leader Supriya Shrinet has made strong allegations against the BJP’s digital team in a post on social media.

She criticised Amit Malviya for BJP’s previous social media campaign and allegations of fake news and also raised questions about the formation of the new team.

Shrinet alleged that the BJP’s new social media team has included people whose social media language and posts have previously caused controversy. She also said that the Congress will continue to respond to the BJP’s narrative on social media and raise its voice against misinformation.

The changes made by the BJP in the social media department are also significant. Deepak Mhaske has now been made the national social media coordinator in place of Amit Malviya, who was in charge of the social media department for almost 11 years.

Four co-coordinators have also been appointed to work with Deepak Mhaske—Preeti Gandhi, Shivanand Dwivedi, Alok Bhatt and Arun Yadav.

This new team will have a big responsibility to deliver BJP’s digital message to the people more effectively.

Priti Gandhi has been active in social media activities with BJP for a long time, while Alok Bhatt has also been active on political issues on social media. So the sudden change in the X account of both of them after getting a place in the new team has naturally become a topic of discussion.

But until the reason is officially confirmed, it would be premature to talk about any specific reason why the accounts disappeared.

The political battle between BJP and Congress is no longer limited to the field. Social media has also become an important political weapon for both parties.

In such a situation, BJP has changed the leadership in the social media department after 11 years. Now everyone will be watching how the new team presents the party’s policies, government’s work and political message on digital platforms.

The announcement of a new team, questions raised about the two X accounts, and a sharp attack from Congress,as the new chapter of the BJP’s social media department begins, the political heat has certainly increased.
