New Delhi : India will exercise its right to self defence against terrorism and will not accept any attempt to normalise or grant immunity to acts of terror, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said while addressing the high-level general debate of the 81st United Nations General Assembly.

Without naming Pakistan, Jaishankar criticised a country he said has long been associated with terrorism, accusing its representative of attempting to distort facts and mislead the international community at the UN General Assembly.

Jaishankar asserted that India would continue to defend itself against terrorism and would not allow acts of terror or those responsible for them to be normalised on the international stage.
