Bhubaneswar : India successfully test-fired the Agni-4 Medium-Range Ballistic Missile (MRBM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha, on Thursday, marking another significant milestone in the country’s strategic defence programme.

Conducted under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, the launch successfully met all mission objectives, with the Ministry of Defence confirming that every operational and technical parameter was validated during the test.

The Agni-4 is an intermediate-range, nuclear-capable ballistic missile featuring advanced navigation, guidance and precision strike capabilities, strengthening India’s strategic deterrence and long-range strike capability.

The successful test further reinforces India’s commitment to enhancing indigenous defence technology and maintaining operational readiness to address evolving security challenges.
